Pure Klakbirds out of the old lines through Tinus Thijen, in those days living in Noordwolde Friesland. Nowadays he lives in Castricum. Tinus was the founder of the so called NOORDWOLDIGER STRAIN. Many lofts are build on this strain through the years fifty and sixty. He was good friends with Jos van Limpt De Klak, so he got them from the best.
What this pair produced is absolutaly fabulous.
Every youngbird born from this pair won 1st prizes, many first prizes. The first youngbirds born from this pair were fabulous birds. Bandnumber 64-343603, 04 and 05. As youngbirds all 3 won a 1st Afd. K. agaist 3526, 4400 and 5495 birds. In the meantime they won Championship youngbirds in the club and a top ranking in Afd.K. How could you miss it with such a breeding-pair.

In 1965 again several firsts were won in Afd. K The 04 and the 05 both won 1st from Venlo and Maastricht. In 1966 they shipped for the 1st time the whole program and the children off this pair won 2nd General Championship Afd. K 800 lofts.
In 1967, 1968 and 1969 they also won 2nd.
In 1968 the 64-343604 was 4th best cock OF HOLLAND and they were, thanks to the children of pair “42 x 17” 5th best FANCIER OF HOLLAND.

Since 1970 they really had no competition anymore. Nothing could stop the offspring from this pair. On every distances they won 1st prizes. The birds were shipped every week on all kinds of distances. Sometimes there was only 1 daybird, but it was always a Beute-pigeon.

The children off this famous pair were mated with direct Klakbirds and to children of the famous THIELEPAIR,the red Janssenbirds(Wondervoske). This pair was purchased by Arnold Beute for a fortune. Pigeonjudge Roverts from Utrecht has built a whole loft on them, everytime he asked for Red Janssens (Klak x Thiele), as well as Keimpe Scholten from Lemmer and later on Wim van Dijk from Oldeberkoop. Specially Germans and South African fanciers were fond of these birds.

STOCKBIRDS B to I

As told, youngbirds of pair 63-660242 x 63-1193117 were mated with other Stock a.o. direct Klakbirds, that were purchased in 1964 and the 2 Klakbirds that we got from our former loftmanager Reind v.d.Weij. Reind was a good friend of Tinus Theijen so he got them from the very best.
This were 62-818580 and 578. A son of Stockpair 42 x 17 (#341 v. 64) was mated to 62-818578 and the 62-818580 was mated to a daughter (65-1103004) off the Stockpair A. and with the foundations were laid for the BEUTEJANSSENS FAMILY OF BIRDS. Besides that a pure Janssenhen (64-1480705) from Anema Eefde was purchased. This hen was mated with a son of Stockpair A and this was the beginning of the victory. Like the race from Beek against 2980 birds: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,12,15 etc.

In 1970 we bought 5 direct Klakbirds from the master and these 5 birds (70-661637, 40,46, 51 and 52. Later on they showed that this was one of the most succesfull purchases ever done.

The 70-661651 bred from DIKKE v. 67 x DE 44-Duif v. 69. Dikke v. 67 was a grandson of Jonge Vechter 300 as well as a grandson SCHONE LICHTE v. 62. The experts know that Jonge Vechter 300 was a son of VECHTER X WITPENNEKE so brother of the Worldfamous 46 VERBART. The 44-duif v. 69 was an inbred hen out of son JONG KOPPEL X KLEINDOCHTER RAPPE and JONGE VECHTER, so 3 times VECHTER X WITPENNEKE.
The 70-661637 was a very important pigeon in the foundation of this family of birds. This bird was down from 67-732837, son of 37 off Jong Koppel x 62 duif from Vechter x witpenneke.
The mother of 70 – 661637 was 69-243534 from De Rappe that was a son of Vechter x Witpenneke x 46-duif from Jong Koppel.
The 70-661637 was 4x Vechter x Witpenneke!!

But also 70-661652 became an important Keybird. This one came from another famous Klakline. The father of 652 was 63-538458 called 58 uit de 20-kweekdoffer x lichte duif van 1959, that was a direct of Blauwe van 48, the most important keybird of Janssen Brs.
Mother of 70-661652 was 68-1010806 from the 78 van Jonge Vechter x 67-732846, daughter famous Witpen van “60.

Three absolute Topbreedingpairs were: 64-343604, 4th Best Cock of Holland x 70-661637 granddaughter Rappe. And 68-139022(from Stockcock 42 x his own daughter) x 70-661651 Line Jonge Vechter. 70-661652 Grandson 20-Breedingcock x 65-1103005, daughter Stockpair. Practicly all youngbirds from these pairs were Superbirds.

With children and grandchildren off these pigeons we became a.o. General Champion of Region East Afd. K in 1970, General Champion Region 2 Afd. K in 1971 and General Champion of the whole Afd. K in 1972.

STOCKPAIR J 81-2007202 x 80-2095069.

This pair was owned by Eppo Bodde from Winschoten. He had the same Klaklines in his loft as we had. In 1984 we allready purchased 84-2201941, it appeared to be a Golden Purchase, more about this bird at Gouden Couple 41x 513.

In 1987 Eppo Bodde had a Total Auction because of moving to Zevenaar. He combined that day of the auction together with Bertie Camphuis (who sold a round of latebreds).
We purchased at this auction teh Wonderpair 02 x 069 that had bred several Topbirds allready. Besides that we purchased the in Northern Holland so famous “07-Acebird”.

This is the absolute Foundationpair after 1985.

Gouden Kweekster is born in 1978, the year that all our breeders were killed by a “Friend in sport” that was jalous. Because of the dissapointment that caaused this we hardly wrote down something about pedigree.
She is down from the birds from our raceloft that were put into our breedingloft, so the old lines of 42 x 17 x direct Klakbirds. She allready gave very good youngsters before she was mated to 41.

The 41 of course has changed mates a few times with great succes. Another one of his hens was 83-1420780, a magnificent redeyed Klakhen. From this mating came Superbreedinghen 85-232573 Daughter 41.
Her offspring are very good pigeons:
Wonderboy 900, Wondere 17, Rembrandt, Picasso etc. The 41 one time was mated to his own daughter Last Lady. Result: Acebirds again.
Spread allover the world are good pigeons, Acebirds and 1st prize-winners off the Golden line 41 x 513. Don’t forget that the van Bastenline also descends from this Golden Couple. The famous Turbocouple of Jaap Jongedijk gave 1st National St. Ghislain against 34.057 birds has the blood of Superbreeder 41.

STOCKPAIR  L, The van Bastenpair 80-1469507 07 Asduif x 85-105742 Kweekwonder 42.

This is the absolute foundationpair of the generation after 1988. The offspring of this pair is still very important for our loft, but also for many, many others. Practicly everyone that has offspring off this pair first or 2nd generation is winning topprizes. 07 Asduif was also some time on the loft of Eppo Bodde, the “Star of the North”. This cock we bought at his auction in 1987. Another attempt to buy this cock before, failed. The 07 Asduif won for Eppo Bodde 5x 1st and was Acebird in 1982.
Lots of offspring won firsts and other topprizes but after we bought him and paired him up with our Kweekwonder 42 the Superpair was born.
The pair recieved their name from the best soccerplayer round that time, Marco van Basten. THE VAN BASTENPAIR is now very famous inside and outside the country. In lots of auctionlists and loftreports you see the name Van Bastenpair.

This Lichte 039 became father of 96-2593224 Kras Wonderboy that won 1st 2188 birds 46 mpm ahead. But still this story has no end, because Kras Wonderboy is father of Nikita Derby 00-1187624 with 1st 3765 23 mpm ahead.   This is one of the best breeders out of the van Bastenpair.
  What the offspring off this pair achieve for us and others is almost unbelievable. He was, mated to 87-1485658 Dochter Jemie ,the male side of the famous Blue Wonderpair.
  Totally they bred 14 1st prizewinners a.o. the famous 90-4223193 Het Blauwe Wonder 1st 18.152 birds.
  And also the offspring of Het Blauwe Wonder is excellent. His grandson 94-5606697 Blue Thunderbird winner of 2x 1st and Acebird Combine in 1998 is the prove of that. This Blue Thunderbird himself is grandfather of the so called Akelige Blauwe 97-2230749 1st 551 birds.
  The Saturnus 89-4216486 is also a son of Witoger v. 88. This cock was Acebird young and is also the father of Picasso 91-4232786 1st Acebird young in 1991 and Rembrandt 91-4232785 that won 1st 3700 birds.
  The van Basten 03, 93-4240703 was very good as a youngbird, but proved to be much better as a breeder. This way he became father of Schalykras 94-2205141 that won 2nd, 2nd and 8th as a youngbird. This superracehen a.o. 10th 949, 17th 722, and 88th Reims N.B.V.Z. 5373 birds, was even a better breeder. She became moother of Schalykras 2nd 507, 2nd 423, 8th 448 as a youngbird. This Schalykras is mother to Generaal 051 95-5507051 with 1st 2278, 1st 1513, 1st 622 birds, but also to Geeloger van ’98 98-1906710 that was Acebird in the club in 2000 with 16 prizes and 1st Acebird autumnraces in the Combine. In 2001 he was 2nd Acebird in the club, behind a loftmate and again 16 prizes a.o. 13th National Homburg.
  But also De Spakenburgse is a daughter of Schalykras.
  She won as a yearlinghen 1st 8752, 1st 2058, 1st 371, 1st 275 and also fastest 18.354 birds. In 2002 she won a.o. 7th 444, 5th 209. In 2003 De Spakenburgse won 2nd 251, 2nd 1675, 3rd 358 birds.
  The Witoogske van Basten is also mother of the Reimsduivin 93-5410321 that won 1st of N.P.O. race as a youngbird. This hen is grandmother of Goldeneye 01-1112042 1st 332 birds (22 mpm ahead.
  Also The Blauwe van Bastenduif 99-1562430 is a daughter of Witoogske van Basten. She won in 2001 17 prizes a.o. 7th NPO on Homburg (1st club, 2nd Combine and 1st Region 1925 birds. This blue van Bastenduif became mother of 2 of our best youngbirds 2001 Mary Lou 01-1112037 a.o. 5th 253, 2nd 586, 10th 210, 9th 138, 7th 375, 5th 2405, 5th 572, 10th 506, 7th 255 and 6th 328 birds and the Dikke Blauwe 01-1112036 with 5th 256.
  The Witoogske van Basten is also mother to thetremendous breeder 93-1744861 Zoon Kleine Vos from Ehrecke and Son Maagdeburg, Germany.
  These fanciers came to us for the first time in 1993 and became best friends ever since. What they achieved with our birds is really unbelievable. Also crossed with the Camphuispigeons it gives topbirds. In 2001 they had best hen in region.
• 92-2800520 Spitskop van Basten:
  Unfortunately we could breed from this cock only 1 year. Because of the fact that he was hurt we had to kill him. But the first youngster he gave was allready a topper 93-5410433 Het Orleansduifke. She won 1st 922 birds Orleand youngbirds. This Orleansduifke is the mother of 2 very best birds, 99-1562438 Zoon Arveladze with 15 prizes in 2002 and 1st Acebird club in 2003, and 98-5820124 De Strontvleugel. This last one is father of 2 of our best youngbirds 2001 Mary Lou and Dikke Blauwe (036 and 037). Mary Lou was in 2002 again top with 12 topprizesand in 2003 she was best Hen in the club.
