That’s me on the left, before my hair turned gray, visiting the loft of Edmund Tournier in Lommel, Belgium. I spent the afternoon at the Tournier Loft in 1987, where 80 pairs of breeders and some 500 pigeons were kept in a variety of attic, rooftop and ground floor lofts.
