I am Mees van Ginkel, married with Patricia and have 3 children. We are in 1993, married and are then in IJzendoorn come live.

From 1996 up to 2006 I member has been of mail stud association the Peace Pigeon in IJzendoorn, tevens I was secretary and as from 2001 I fly with my oldest son. An association where the majority of the players on the vitesse and midfond escapes game.

My passion is the Long Distance flights with the Jan Aarden pigeons. In our division we have 7 long distance fights and in the future we also will prepare our pigeons for Barcelona and Pau when our colony is strong enough.

Before 1996 I flew with my father H.van Ginkel at Elst (Utr.) with changing successes, which were then still in the division East Gelderland.

As from 2006 we at our old association Elst & neighbourhood member has become. This because we will move in February 2007 to Veenendaal, and the competition is on the Long Distance flights in Elst larger, as a result of which it for us a piece will become more interesting. In 2006, 2007 and last year a lot of teletekst quotations had been still won by members of P.V. Elst & environs.

As from 2007 we will start again will play with young pigeons and try within a couple year a large role on the Long Distance flights, this must be no problem with these racing pigeons. In 2008 we have already won a 1e price at Montauban with a yearling henn (50 minutes ahead in our competition. The Lady Montauban has won in 2009 die 2e National Montauban Sector 3.

Also will give my oldest son for its own to start with young pigeons, which meant for him itself conduct, water and clean the loft. Henriko has won in 2007 and 2008 the 1e Youth Champion in our association and 2e Yought Champion in Kring 2 from Regio 3 in 2007 and 2008. Ever since 2009 Henriko goes together with his sister Eline in combination practise as Henriko & Eline the long distance flights.

News:

Last weekend we had the first Long Distance Race from Brive (820 km, ad.5319) and "Contador" delivered directly to a top performance to win 10th NPO on teletext. "Contador" the cock of "Lady Montauban", so now we have a real Teletext pair in our possession.

Now last weekend for the third time this year the first prize in Association and R.I.E.  Shakira was the last weekend in its first at St. Vincent (1060 km), now was the Blue Lady at Perigieux (840 km) to the first prize in the Association and R.I.e. won.

Now official 1e Long Distance Champion of the biggest association of the Netherlands the G.O.U.
